This Bayonet was made in Lithgow in 1917 and would have been carried/used by a member of the Australian Imperial Forces.
Significance
This bayonet would have been carried by a member of the AIF during conflicts. This is an original Bayonet as made by an Armory in Lithgow, New South Wales, in 1917.
