Photographs .2) & .3) are re Frank Hepburn HAMILTON No 2153 AIF, enlisted in 4th reinforcements 24th Batt on 12.7.1915 age 20 years. Embark for Egypt 27.9.1915, embark for France 20.3.1916, hospital with PUO 26.6.1917, rejoin unit 6.7.1917, awarded the Military Medal (MM) as a Battalion runner on 1.9.1918 at Mont St Quentin, discharged from the AIF 15.7.1919.

Physical description

.1) Envelope, whitish with gold writing, folds in half. On front is Sketch Portrait, Wm Elsmore, 4 St Enoch Square, Glasgow.
.2) Photograph, sepia on chamfered edge cardboard, shows soldier centre wearing an MM Ribbon & 2 girls, 1 each side. Fits inside .1).
.3) Photograph, same as .2) but set on a large cardboard piece with brown wood texture.
