Booklet, J H Veitch & Sons, The 'Sphinx" Souvenir. A collection of Cartoons, c1908

Historical information

The Sphinx was a magazine of Durham University students published between 1905-1922, except for the period between July 1914 and the end of 1918. This volume appears to be a collection of the cartoons originally published in that magazine. While it contains no publishing details or date, we surmise it may have been published in about 1908.

Physical description

Thin grey covered book with grey a drawing of a Sphinx on cover. Contents consist of pages of cartoons, printed on only one side of the paper, being a collection of satirical cartoons.
