This yearly effort was conducted from 12.11.1998 - 12.12.1998. At the bottom of each page are details re pick up and delivery of tickets and stocking. The raffle was conducted from 3 different selling points. The names on the roster are a who's who of the RSL at the time, except for two names all the sellers were WW2 era members being a list of President current, ex Presidents, Life members, Committee and notables. The hand written notes were by Jack Barnes OAM. Refer Cat No's 8130P & 8220.

These tickets were sold from 12.11.1996 - 13.12.1996 and drawn on 16.12.1996 with the results in the Bendigo Advertiser on 18.12.1996. The proceeds of this yearly effort was in aid of the Bendigo RSL Patriotic Building Fund. These raffles are believed to have began pre 1950 and ran until 1999. Refer Cat No's 8130P and 8221.

" " 900 - 950, on front, "901 - 950 - --12.27" With no 9 receipt No's 939 onwards are missing, the last date for 1927 is 31.12.27 then start 3.1.28 - 7.1.28, these are for "Subs" membership for 1928. There are two Printers, light blue binding is "Boltons print" and dark blue binding is "F.H. Parkman Printer, Arcade, Bendigo". A large amount of the receipts are for RSL Membership being 10/- (Schillings). There are many receipts to businesses and other groups, to name a few, Hall hire Various amounts, Billiards, Tomato growers, book, Bendigo Trotting Club, South Bendigo Club, Teachers Training College. The figures range from one pound one schilling - six pounds. The phone No for the Bendigo Sub Branch then was a simple "95"
Nine Receipt books, seven have front and rear card covers, two have no front cover, six have readable hand written text on the front, 3 have none, all pages are pink colour, there is a small amount of pages missing over the nine, one has quite a few missing, two have a light blue binding the rest are dark blue.

This set of 30 black and white photographs were taken at the Army Survey Regiment’s parade rehearsal held at the Queen Elizabeth Oval, Bendigo on the 27th of June 1985. The rehearsal was for the Freedom of Entry parade held 1-2 weeks later in 1985. The exact date for the Freedom of Entry parade is not known. The Freedom of Entry to the City of Bendigo was an honour first conferred by the Bendigo City Council to the Army Survey Regiment in 1970. The Freedom of Entry parade in 1985 was the fourth time the unit exercised its right of freedom of entry. The Regiment also exercised its Freedom of Entry with anniversary parades in 1977, 1980 and 1995. Refer to items 6020.8P, 6021.25P, 6248P, 6266, 6409.2 and 6430.39P for more Army Survey Regiment Freedom of Entry photographs, documents and certificates. These renovations were first discussed by the Bendigo RSL in 1962 - 1963. This Document is headed, “Specifications of Workmanship and Materials required for Painting and Renovations etc, at R.S.S.A.I.L.A Hall, Pall Mall, Bendigo” There are 3 parts to the documents. First section has 22 parts, everything from “Tender - Insurance - Materials - Liability - Condition of Contract to the use of Sanitary conveniences. Second section has sections re “Carpenter and Joiner - Brick work - Plastering - Electrician - Painter and Glazier”. Each has sections under re their work to be done. Third section is a technical drawing of the Soldiers Memorial Institute minus the Main Hall, it shows scopes of work. The main works covered a new false ceiling in the Office, a new front door entrance to the Foyer in a different position, exhaust fan in the Billiard room, removal of a gate at the Stairwell entrance, fire place repairs, adding chair rails to walls to foyer, Committee room. These works were carried out. There was a false ceiling in the Meeting room but there was no mention re this in the above plans. This ceiling was removed during the 2016 - 2018 major renovations to the SMI. The false ceiling in the Office was removed in a major renovation to the room in 2011 - 2012 and taken back to original.

These Constitutions dated 14.11.1952 with the name's , "A.V. Palmer - President" (Bendigo RSL) "N.D. Wilson - President - Vic Branch R.S.S.A.I.L.A". The small booklets were headed "Rules of the Bendigo Returned Servicemen's Club - 1956" As far back as 1950 there was discussion within the Sub Branch re a Club in suitable premises. A property was purchased being 11 McKenzie Street Bendigo with the title dated 9.2.1951, the facility opened on 1.6.1951 but without a Liqueur Licence. Years followed with a failure to be granted one. Finally the facility was sold to Bendigo Legacy and they occupied the building on 7.6.1959 which became known as "Legacy House". This is a very brief version of the events from the Book by Murray Poustie, refer Cat No 8093, The history of the Bendigo RSL. .3) The Rules of the Welfare Committee were in .1) folded in half. There is 6 paragraphs with a total of 18 Clause's.
