Physical description

Framed art quilt depicting Woorayl Shire boundaries. Features animals and landscape from local agriculture, plus local flora and fauna. Embroidered and sewn in fabric, wool and thread. Engraved brass plaque affixed to lower edge. Brown textured wood frame, Perspex case covering entire work.

Inscriptions & markings

On brass frame plate: WOORAYL IN THREADS, Presented to the Shire of Woorayl on the occasion of it's Centenary. 1888 - 1988, Worked by Country Women's Association members from within the Shire, 24-5-1988
