Black pottery vase made by the Jinshan Pottery Art Institiute in Shangai China. Features a decorative carved design around the belly of the vase which also featues a wide open neck.

Quilt - South Gipsland Community Quilt

South Gippsland Shire Council, Leongatha

Hand made and machine embroidered quilt with 16pp handmade book. The quilt celebrates the lives of local women in our rural environment. Eleven local women made this quilt and book in 2004 over a period of four months. Meg Viney fibre artist and then director of Meeniyan Art Gallery initiated the project. The quilt features printed images of the women surrounded by blue floral patterned fabric and gold/brown patterned trim. The book features hand made paper pages with images and stories on each of the women who were involved in the making of the quilt.

Cream card window mount with engraved text panel set in light brown wood frame. The photomontage features images of the the Olympic Torch and Commemorative medals atop with text and signatures above a collection of ephemera, memorabilia, items of clothing and objects relating to the Olympic games.

Pair of commemorative lead light stained glass windows fitted into the wall of the Memorial Hall. Each titled 1939 & 1945 respectively both with the text "AUSTRALIA REMEMBERS 1945-1995" at bottom edge. The scene which extends across the both windows shows five people representing each of the forces standing on a cliff overlooking the sea. A small boy wearing a hat and shirts stands separate from the group. He stands on a far cliff holding an Australian flag.

Carved wood letter holder. Features two dolphins. One on either side. The name "DOMINICA" is painted on one of the dolphins.

Certificate, Framed - Roll of Honour

South Gippsland Shire Council, Leongatha

World War I. Roll of Honour. Independant Order of the Rechabites. Framed coloured certificate set in brown wood frame. The certificate lists the members of the Supplejack Tent No.401 Dumbalk who have volunteered for "Active Service in response to the Empire's Call." Names handwritten in black ink. The border is decorated with coloured flowers and flags and the images of King George V, the Minister for Defence and the first Australian soldier to win a VC.

Timber and brass round faced clock donated to Community meeting Room 1 January 2000 by the Working Horse and Tractor Rally Committee. Brown wood body, brass trim and cream enamelled face with roman numerals on the face. Plaque affixed to the face in centre.
