Historical information
A group of ten people pose for a formal photograph. It includes three women and four Aboriginal Australians, with two people holding boomerangs.
There is little known about this orphan photograph in the EDHS collection other than it came to us via the Shire of Eltham. Centre back is Edwin "Ted" Coutie (1864-1927) of "Summer Hill", Panton Hill. To the left of him is possibly his wife Emily Coutie, nee Scarce. They married in 1895.
