Carisbrook State School No 1030 was firsy opened on 01 July 1855 as the non=vested Church of England School No 130., becoming a Cmmon School in 1869. A new site was sought, and a two acre corner allotment was selected, being excised from the Police Reserve in October 1873 in Victoria Street.
