Historical information

Plaque commemorating the opening of the Yarra River Footbridge opened by Nillumbik Shire Mayor Cr. Tony Ranuic, Member for Eltham, Mr Steve Herbert MP, and Manningham City Mayor, Cr. Patricia Young on Monday 30 August 2004. Nillumbik Shire Couuncil acknowledges the support of the Victorian State Government and City of Manningham. The footbridge links the Diamond Creek Trail between the Shire of Nillumbik and City of Manningham. It is a shared pathway and also links with the Main Yarra Trail. It affords lovely views over the Yarra River.
