Historical information
Display was constructed by the Rutherglen Historical Society for the 100th anniversary of ANZAC Day. Each poppy represents one soldier. Those who returned and are buried at the local cemetery are shown at the top. The remainder represent those from the district who died overseas during the War.

Wire mesh panel with an arrangement of knitted and crocheted poppies, each with a name attached, to commemorate World War 1 soldiers from the Rutherglen district.
