Historical information
The plaque was dedicated in 1981 to the men who gave their lives during the World War Two period in the merchant and navy services.
When Made
The chapel originally designed as a Memorial to the Great War 1914-18 continues to be a place of commemoration for both merchant and naval services of WW2 and other conflicts.
