Historical information

This cup came from the Warrnambool APEX Club . The first APEX Club was founded in Geelong in 1951 and Warrnambool APEX Club was the fifth Club founded in 1951. This was a community service organisation with members aged between 18 and 45. Warrnambool APEX Club closed in 2011. It is not clear what this trophy was awarded for but the local APEX Club was involved in debating and public speaking competitions.

Significance

This cup is retained as an important memento of the Warrnambool APEX Club (now closed).

Physical description

This is a silver plated cup. It has a a half oval shaped cup on a stand. There are two large handles on either side. There is an inscription on one side.The cup is much stained and worn
