This camera comes from the 1920s and originally belonged to a member of the Shadbolt family but no information has been found on this family. The Kodak junior camera was very popular in the first half of the 20th Century

Significance

This camera has no known local provenance but is retained as an interesting example of an early Kodak camera

Physical description

This is KODAK junior camera in a leather covering with a leather handle. It has a concertina mechanism. It has an outer leather case with a leather strap and a broken metal catch. The cover is much scuffed and rubbed. The camera is rectangular in shape with curved ends.
