Historical information

The two windows commemorate both seafarers of two world wars and the historic vessel Dreadnought.

Significance

The installation coincided in 2007 with the 150th anniversary of services to seafarers by the Mission to Seafarers.

Physical description

Rectangular memorial plaque. The plaque is bronze with brass edged frame and bronze raised lettering on a black background. The plaque is mounted to a brick wall beneath windows referred to.
