Country Women's Association of Victoria was a popular widely known organisation throughout Australia. The CWA aimed to improve health, welfare and education for women and children in the country.
Significance
Each town / area in the Kiewa Valley had an active CWA.
The Tawonga branch commenced in Feb. 1946 and often combined activities with other branches in the Kiewa Valley.
