Clippings regarding fundraising for the MTS during the 1930s

Significance

AS an entirely donation dependent organisation the Mission services have constantly needed publicity and promotional support to continue to offer services to seafarers. This collection of pre-WW2 clippings reflects the emergence from a period of great Depression economically.The collection is a useful research source.

Physical description

A group of 8 thin damaged pages with clippings adhered either singly or in groups of 2 or 3 clippings some images - primarily from the "Argus" circa late 1930s. All appear to be related to a drive for fundraising to support the Mission to Seamen.
