Historical information

The British Army 14th/20th King's Hussars was affiliated with 20th Australian Light Horse Regiment [date ?] . This affiliation carried over to 8th/13th Victorian Mounted Rifles in 1948 and is now maintained in the affiliation of the Queens Royal Hussars and 4th/19th Prince of Wales's Light Horse following various amalgamations and linkings.

Significance

Rare example of a gift between British and Australian regiments.
