The Argus newspaper published in Melbourne Victoria 1848 - 1957. On occasions they ran competitions requesting articles to be sent in possibly on a specific topic.
Margaret Reid won 1st prize for her story about a possum. Margaret lived in the Kiewa Valley at 'Willowdene', Tawonga Roadside via Wodonga.
