Helmet, steel, dome shaped, no brim, jungle green colour, parachutists model. Stamped into leather band is Size 6-7/8 Made in 1942. Has internal leather band with cord & cotton ribbon. Some old foam rubber is sandwiched between leather headband & steel shell.
Painted white inside is: Number - 3144045
Stamped on leather head band: 'B.M.B, 6 7/8 (in a shield), 1942'
