The Methodist Church was built in 1909 by volunteer labour. Mainly through the efforts of the daughters of Eliza Hand and their families - the Jeeves, Walkers and Badenhops. (Lundy-Clarke manuscript)

Physical description

Local residents working to erect the frame of the Methodist Church on the Main Road (Ridge Road) at Kalorama. Eight workmen are on the frame with fifteen well dressed residents standing in front. 1909.
