These forceps were owned and used by Dr Ronald Rome and Dr Kelvin Churches. Notes suggest that these may be a modified set of Denman-type forceps, as appearance of the outer part of the handles indicate they are an 'adaption' for independent use. (Note from Helen Johnson, 2000).

Physical description

Set of short handled forceps. Both blades of forceps are stamped "Lindsay of London" (for manufacturer) and "R & C" (for Dr Ronald Rome and Dr Kelvin Churches).
