'These have been at the Chalet from at least 1937, when they were photographed at the head of the Dining Room above the mantlepeice (fig 10). They were still there in 1950 as testified by another photograph of the dining room
( Fig11). By 2002, they had been moved to the main Lounge where they were displayed above the north mantelpeice, and have since been transferred to the Billiard Room. Information printed in gold on the buffalo mount states that the horns are from Northern Territory and were presented (date not stated) by Mr T.N. Sayle of Whitfield, a town in the King Valley near Mt Buffalo.' (Pg 57. Historica )
