Historical information

In 1965, 8th/13th Victorian Mounted Rifles held a sustained Recruiting Drive. It was the responsibility of individual CMF units to do their own recruiting and training.

Significance

Collection of photographs showing an armoured regiment of the Citizen Forces in the 1960s as it transitioned from wheeled armoured vehicles to tanks to M113 armoured personal carriers.
