Historical information

The foundation stone of the Saint Nicholas chapel was laid on the 22nd of March 1915 and inaugurated in a few months later in 1915 by Mr Alcock.
The furniture was designed by Walter Butler.

This picture was used in the number 40 of the "Jottings from our log published for the Michaelmas 1915 and in the Annual report for 1915.

Significance

The chapel was inaugurated in the midst of WWI.
