This cottage was built about 1889 by Jabez Gunner. The family lived elswhere then returned to this home for many years until 1960s / 1970s.
Colour photo taken from diagonally across the street of a single-fronted simple Victorian cottage. It is timber with a corrugated iron roof, canter-levered veranda and a single brick chimney. The veranda is unadorned and the fence is of simple post-and-rail construction.
