Historical information
Ballarat East High School is situated in Fussell Street, Ballarat East. In the year 1967 the headmaster Mr O'Connor retired after 13 years at the school. He was there from its inception in the early 1950s, when classes only ran to Form 3 (Year 9). He saw it grow into a viable High School, instigated the musical program and saw excellence in sports.
