Photograph, Tennis club float for Empire Day celebrations, circa 1935, c1935

Historical information

The donor, Jean Boucher was the daughter of Wally Ives and she was an early active member of the History Nook at the Surrey Hills Neighbourhood Centre and the Surrey Hills Historical Society.
The Ives family were associated with the Wyclif Church Tennis Club, so this is possibly the Wyclif float.
