Ruth Pendavingh obtained the photo while researching her family history.
Alan Holt information: George Rea commenced work as a cabman at Surrey Hills station in 1916. At that stage the Reas lived above the shop where he had his office. At first he had a hansom cab or wagonette, a 4 wheeled vehicle with steps at the back. Later he had a motor vehicle.
Earlier from 1906 they had lived in Lorne Parade and after he retired they lived at 72 Croydon Road. He died in 1961.
