Military field telephone, with handset
Mounted on front of the telephone is an identification plate with the inscriptions “REPLACE HANDSET WHEN FINISHED AND RING OFF. TELEPHONE SET “F” MK 1. STANDARD TELEPHONES AND CABLES PTY LTD SYDNEY 1943. D ^ D. Also mounted to the front of the phone is a smaller plate with inscription “ Serial No. 5971.
