This corner was occupied in the past by Lloyds Chemist shop which was a weatherboard structure. The photograph was taken prior to 1995 when 8 digit telephone numbers were introduced throughout the Metropolitan area.
Physical description
A coloured photograph of the streetscape of the SW corner of Evans and Brook Street. The main shop is occupied by L. J Whorlow, Real Estate Agents. A white car is parked on the LHS of the photograph and a garbage bin is placed next to a concrete bollard by the kerb and on the brick paved footpath.
