Garment was worn by female patients at the Sunbury Asylum.
Inmate's dress in off-white canvas (?) with red stripe (blue stripe on left arm only). Round neck with front reinforcement and added panel and binding in cream cotton. Bodice and skirt pleated into waistband. Back opening to thigh level with three pairs of button-stitched eyelets.
