Historical information

British 1907 pattern bayonet and .303 Lee Enfield rifle was standard issue to the armies of many Commonwealth countries including Australia, in World War One (1914-1918), World War Two (1939-1945), and Korean War (1950-1953). In Australia it was replaced by the 7.62mm Self-loading rifle (SLR) in 1960.
