These tacks, produced perhaps 100 years ago, could have been used by carpenters making furniture etc or by householders making or repairing household items.

Significance

These tacks are retained as examples of building and household items used over 100 years ago. They have no known local provenance.

Physical description

This is a glass jar with a red plastic top. The jar contains metal tacks. All of them have the letter ā€˜Nā€™ (or ā€˜Zā€™?) on the head of the tack. The tacks have a rounded head with a flattened body rounded at the end.
