This is a high quality kit bag which may have been used to transport valuables of some sort. There have been several ‘Tomlinson’ families in Warrnambool and district over the past hundred years and it is not possible at this stage to pinpoint one particular person as the owner of this bag.
Significance
This bag is retained as an example of a good quality leather bag and will be useful for display purposes.
Physical description
This is a kit bag made of brown embossed leather. At the top of the bag are a metal clip and a leather handle with metal clips. The leather is rubbed and stained.
