Typed on back of one photograph: "The old Ringwood Post Office (our third) at the corner of Maroondah Highway and Ringwood Street. Ringwood Market is now on the left behind the picket fence and the new telephone exchange is now just past where the picket fence is. Our second telephone exchange was just behind this post office. Note how bare Loughnans Hill was. c 1930s".
