Written on back of another photograph: "The Mayor of Ringwood Cr. H. F. Pearson watching the first Mayor of Ringwood ex councillor A. T. Miles record his vote at a Referendum held on 26.2.1949. Ex councillor Miles was elected first mayor in 1924. (with the compliments of Cr. H.F. Pearson)".
