Written on back of photograph SS0311a, "Last stump still remaining in post and rail fence which ran along Station Street". Photograph is dated mid 1976. Further note reads, "Removed by 'someone' late 1976".
On back of SS0311b: "Showing last stump of post and rail fence which ran along Station Street. 'Pinched' late 1976".
