Typing under photo reads "QUEEN ELIZABETH'S FIRST VISIT TO MELBOURNE - 1954. Crowds lined the railway track all the way through the eastern suburbs. The Queen and Prince Phillip stood on a platform on the end of a 'country carriage' of their train, to acknowledge the enthusiasm. The Queen can just be seen - Photograph taken at Ringwood station as the train passed through."
