Historical information

Saimon Qaius was a prisoner of the Japanese during W.W.II. He subsequently worked for the Methodist Missionary Society as a teacher in New Britain. He assisted Rev. C. Mannering in translating the Old Testament into Blanche Bay dialect, as used by the Methodist Mission in New Britain.
