Members of the National Tertiary Education Union went on strike action on Thursday 11 April 2019. This was from 11am to 5pm (6 hours). It was held because after more than a year of negotiations, Fed Uni management had not offered a fair wage rise, and were still trying to strip back the right of appeal against disciplinary action.
