Peter Box , played Australian Rules Football for Cheltenham and Australian Football League team Footscray . He won the Brownlow Medal in 1956. This medal, named after Fitzroy footballer Charles Brownlow, is awarded each year to the Fairest and Best Player in the AFL as voted by the umpires of the AFL
