An oval gold locket with 12 small pink coral stones mounted on a raised cross on the front. It has a black velvet ribbon to tie it around the neck. Inside are two tiny locks of hair mounted on a pale purple piece of cardboard with a plastic surround.

Seven white cotton Richelieu cutwork serviettes with the embroidery worked on the bottom left hand corner. They have a filet lace border.

Presumed worn by Mrs C.V Schooling as noted written on the piece of paper underneath the burgundy mount inside the case.
A ladies watch with a purple patterned enamel surround, a white face and black roman numerals surrounded by tiny gold dots around the edge of the face. It has a metal grooved winder on the right of the face which moves the hands but the watch doesn't keep time. The wristband is brown leather with a Reg. No on the back and has a gold coloured buckle. Is is in its original lidded case - CYMA brand, although the brand is not written on the watch itself. The case has a purple label on the top lid with an illustration of a black and gold watch with gold roman numerals behind it. CYMA - on time all the time is written below. Inside the lid is the brand and a statement about the guarantee. It sits on a burgundy velvet mount. Underneath the mount is a handwritten message from the wearer stating that the watch doesn't keep time. On the bottom of the box is writing in grey pencil with many words indecipherable. Some ink words are seen.

Inside the lid is written - CYMA - This Cyma watch is free from any defect of construction and is guaranteed to keep accurate time if not misused. On the small piece of paper under the burgundy mount is written - The watch was gaining 4 or 5 hours a day - then stopped, I do hope it can be made to go again - CVS, From Mrs C.V Schooling, Penshurst. On the back of the leather band is imprinted Reg No Victor 2

A rectangular cream Ivory style relief carved panel of ten Ancient Greek figures playing and listening to musical instruments played outdoors. They are wearing robes; some are standing and some are sitting on or near rocks and a plant. The artwork has a mottled wooden frame and gold painted cardboard mount. It is covered by celluloid or plastic to protect the carving. The backing is wooden with small screws holding it all together.
The whole sculpture is carved in fine detail.

Inside the silver box is a lock of hair with a handwritten note - Grandfather's hair Sept 9th 1899.
A small rectangular ornately engraved and decorated lidded box with a linear pattern overall on the outside of the lid, sides and bottom. It has a scalloped shape on all edges. Inside is a lock of Grandfather's hair wrapped in a folded piece of paper with writing describing who it is from and the date. Inside on the lid bottom of the box are engravings of the maker.
Inscribed on the outside of the lid in an ornate rectangular scalloped shape: Presented to Mr. George Birrell MECHANIC By his Fellow Workmen as a token of respect on his leaving for Australia 11th July 1851 GLASGOW Inside the lid top are three stamps: one is a face in a circle, next to it a rectangle with ES and the third is not recognisable. On the bottom of the box are three stamps: one is in the shape of a shield with a cross in the middle, next is a rectangle with ES and the third appears to be a moon shape.

A large ornate brass brooch with a highly decorated swirled surround, a glass cover which has displayed underneath it locks of hair on a white background. There is a pin on the back to attach it to clothing. It is stored in a cardboard brown and cream patterned box with cotton wool.
Locks of hair are seen under the glass cover both front and back.

A gold plated tie clip with a flat rectangular base with a small floral swirl at the end. The top has a shaped curved clip that opens on the right by pressing the round patterned end. On the pointy section on top there is engraved - 12K GF with a bishop's mitre shape above with a long S shape inside. The clip is quite strong. It is kept in a beige and white patterned small box with cotton wool.

A Bryant & May Greenlites matchbox containing wooden waterproof matches. The front of the box has the name Greenlites waterproof matches printed in white and black lettering on a green background with an illustration of a man and a woman boiling a billy on an open fire at the beach. There are worn striking surfaces on each side. The box is covered in purple paper.

A vintage gold square lidded Statesman Lancers 10 tobacco tin with the name printed in black lettering with black and red stripes above and below the name in a triangular shape. There is an ornate 10 pointed star with a white crest in a red circle stamped below the stripes. The word Press with a pointed triangle is written in red on the bottom right of lid for opening. On the back are specifications for the cigars and L35 stamped as well as a brown picture of a cigar on the left. Inside the lid is Lancers "None so Mild" written in black. There is a cream coloured folded piece of paper on which the cigars would have sat. On the left and right sides is written - Statesman Lancers in red print.
Statesman Lancers 10 and the word Press is printed on the front of the lid. Inside is written, Lancers "None so Mild". On the back Specifications: Length: 3 3/4 inches (Approx) Circumference: ! 1/8 inches (Approx) Smoking time: About 18 minutes Blend: Mild, International Taste: Mellow, piquant Ash: White, clinging Mouthpiece: Straight cut. On the left and right sides is written - Statesman Lancers in red print.

An empty small blue, and gold cardboard Capstan Medium Strength Cigarette packet with white lettering, which contained 10 Fine Virginia Leaf Medium Cork cigarettes. There is a white nautical capstan symbol in an oval shape at the bottom right on the front with Fine Virginia Leaf written below in gold lettering. One side of the packet has written, Virginia Cigarettes and the other has Trade mark (with an eight pointed star) Mark W.D. & H.O. Wills (Aust.) Ltd. Sydney and a 3/4 number in a circle on the right. It opens at the top with a cardboard flap. Inside is a brown cardboard flapped tray with the inscription Every Genuine 'Capstan" Navy Cut Cigarette bears the name W.D. & H.O Wills printed on the two smaller flaps. On the back of the tray is written - Prevent Bush fires! Extinguish your butt.

Worn on a ladies belt for decoration. It could be Japanese as there are similar pieces on the internet.
An antique round hand painted Japanese style ladies ceramic belt buckle with two birds, rock cliffs, flowers, two waterfalls and a mountain which could represent Mt Fuji in the background. It is mounted on a brass surround and the back has a hook for clasping to the other end of the belt and a thin metal bar. There is a small X signature stamped under the hook.

A small rectangular Windsor patterned clear glass container for a dressing table, possibly used for hairpins in the 1930's or 40's. It has 4 angled pieces that protrude from each bottom corner. Three rows of hexagonal shapes are part of the pattern on all sides. There are chips and cracks. It may have had a lid.

Written by hand in blue ink on a small piece of paper - Ribbon is pure gold thread. The buttons and stars are rolled gold. They were all brought from Germany by Auntie Hilda - made in her cousin's factory who supplied these for the German Army, (1st World War).
A set of 1st World War German Military Uniform badges (10 star pins) and buttons (5) with a shank on the back made of rolled gold and a piece of ribbon made of pure gold thread. 3 buttons are smaller than the other two and all have engraving and military insignia which is difficult to read on the front and the back of each. One star is bigger than the other 9 and all have 5 points and lines on each point. They have a pin on the back.
The 5 buttons have an insignia on the front with a key and other markings. German writing is around the edges and back.

There are 15 large forks, 12 small forks, 6 knives, 15 soup spoons, 14 dessert spoons, 8 cake forks, 2 butter knives, 2 large serving spoons and 1 set of salad servers. Some have a triangular shape on the handle at the bottom, some are plain and others are decorative.

It has diagrams and outline drawings of fruit, native and foreign cultivated in America. A section at the back is headed - Key to French Names. An Index to the Different Fruits is included along with a General Index. Appendixes I, II and III has a General Index with synonymous names in Italic. Tanning, foxing and stains are noted. 1098p. plus 193p. for Appendixes.

This is a plain brown book with small diagonal squares pattern on the covers. La Nourriture De L'ame, ou Recueil De Prieres pour les Principales Fetes de L'annee which translates to - The Food for the Soul or Collection of Prayers for the Main Holidays of the Week. The author is Jean- Rodolphe Ostervald, pastor of the French Church of Bale. There is a drawing on the frontispiece of Jesus talking to men. At the back is a Table of Contents. Some pencil markings inside, foxing and tanning. There are two bookmarks included - One has Federal printed on it in red lettering with a rising sun pattern at each end with a French handwritten message written on the front and back. Another paper used as a bookmark has Y Foy and Gibson, Melbourne. 545p.

The back cover has a large black drawing of a plant. The spine has the title in gold at the top. There are some full page black and white illustrations and a list at the back of suggested books to read and give for Presentations. Some damage to pages and tanning. 151p.
A story about two young orphaned boys who have to make their way in the world. They have strong religious teachings from their grandmother and after she dies they struggle to survive. Through various hardships the main character Ben manages to make something of his simple life, marries a girl he adores and eventually is reunited with his long lost brother who has mended his ways.

A small blue cloth covered storybook for young children titled - Show Your Colours and Other True Narratives. There are gold and black patterns all over the front cover and the back is embossed. A Merit Bookplate is glued to the front endpaper. The full colour illustrated frontispiece picture is of an old man seated at a table with a younger one standing behind him. It has grey pencil scribble all over it and a large tear. There are three short stories all with strong religious themes. At the back is a list of 40 of The "Little Dot" Series - New Sixpenny Books. The spine is broken from the pages. 62p.

An old rare damaged brown heavily embossed patterned hardcover book, The Life of The Rev. John Wesley, A.M. by Richard Watson. The spine is missing. There are loose pages particularly at the front with pencil and ink inscriptions. A sewing pin is holding the black and white portrait of John Wesley to the endpaper. The spine edge inside has grey tape holding the endpapers together. There are dirty marks, severe tanning and foxing noted all through this 1851 edition. 485p. with a few pages at the back of further religious works by the publisher John Mason.
