Mont De Lancey Wandin North, Victoria

Mont De Lancey is the property purchased and developed by pioneer Henry Sebire. It includes an 1880's homestead, timber slab kitchen, 1920's St. Mary's Chapel, a blacksmiths shop and vintage engine shed and an extensive museum showcasing vintage clothes, radios, tools, kitchen appliances, old photos and more. It is a not for profit trust which is run by volunteers.
The Museum was opened in 1993.

Historical information

Cutty Sark is the world’s only surviving extreme clipper. Launched on 22 November 1869 in Dumbarton, Scotland, it embarked on its maiden voyage from London to Shanghai on 16 February 1870.

Historical information

Interior surfaces are abrasive, rather like coarse sandpaper. Turning the handle rotates the potatoes or other vegetables, causing them to rub against the surfaces and so losing their skin.
