The puppets were made by German POW's in camp 13 and sent to internment camp 3 as gifts for the children at Christmas time.

Physical description

Paper mache head of man with large nose, pointed chin and moustache. Hand painted blue eyes. Moustache and eye brows made with cotton thread. Magenta tie stitched to neck. Bottle green felt jacket with magenta trim. Leather hands attached to sleeves. Light brown skirt attached to jacket. leather ears on head.
