Methodist Deaconess Order was established in 1946.
The badge belonged to Norma E Anguey who was one of the first graduates.
Enamel badge in the shape of a red Greek cross overlaid with a white circle. The a dove and book are depicted in the centre and the badge has a safety chain and pin.
