Professor Brian Hill worked in the field of education. He was at Wollongong University College from January 1968 to December 1973, Murdoch University School of Education from January 1974, and is Emeritus Professor of Education at Murdoch University (WA) from January 2000. He was the Foundation professor and dean of the School of Education. He has written extensively on Christian education and multicultural education. He is a strong advocate for religious studies in state schools.
