Reverend Ron O'Grady is a New Zealander and Churches of Christ minister who was appointed by the Australian Council of Churches as executive secretary of World Christian Action which coordinated the Christmas Bowl appeal. He was before this appointment associate general secretary of the Christian Conference of Asia for the previous eight years. From 1955 to 1964 he was a parish minister in Naenae and Christchurch and between 1964 to 1973 he served as associate general secretary of the National Council of Churches in New Zealand with responsibility for refugee programs.
