Made for Mr & Mrs William Moore, 7 Pitt Street, Bendigo by the mother of Charlie, one of 3 American Soldiers billeted during WWII.
Physical description
Dark brown wooden frame with glass front & white cardboard backing. Red top & gold bottom silk background with white woven lace border. Embroidery consists of Union Jack & Australian flags with souvenir of Egypt at top, Commonwealth Forces badge in centre & a floral arrangement under the badge.
Inscriptions & markings
Embroidered at bottom: "To Lou & Will with love from Charlie"
