Historical information

HMAS Sydney sank on 19 November 1941 with all crew members. The coin is issued as an acknowledgement of the 645 crew members who lost their lives.

Physical description

Uncirculated fine silver proof coin commemorating HMAS Sydney II. Coin is packaged in a presentation case. Focal point is a representation of Sydney II next to the words "HMAS Sydney".
