Historical information

Born in Australia, Halinka began learning the piano at the age of four years when her mother gave her her first lesson. Her father was Stanislaw, a well known Polish violinist. At the age of eleven Halinka played the A Major Mozart Piano concerto with orchestra. She went on to have an illustrious career in piano and singing.
